You Matter

Progressive Vet Consulting firmly believes all members of the practice team are critical to the success of the business. Leadership is not just those at the top. The value of the whole working together is much greater than the sum of the individual parts.

Therefore, the mission is to work with individuals and teams within their veterinary practice to equip with the essential social skills to take responsibility for individual leadership and collective practice success. The outcome? A happier, healthier, more sustainable business.

1. Progressive Individuals

Using a thorough, proven base coaching framework, we work with vets, veterinary nurses, receptionists, practice managers and business staff to help you manage the day to day challenges, thrills and frustrations of working in a veterinary practice. Together we develop a personal strategy for career progression, balance and satisfaction.

  • Are you enjoying work?

  • Are you frustrated with a lack of career progression opportunity?

  • Do you want to contribute more?

  • Do you struggle with understanding why people work/think differently to you?

  • Are you happy with your work : life balance?

  • Do you feel burdened with responsibility for your practice?

  • Have you taken time to assess what you want?

Whatever your role and career stage, Progressive Vet Consulting will encourage you to ask questions, reflect and challenge yourself to act as we work through a six-session one on one coaching programme.

Session one aims to establish your needs and motivation for coaching and develop the rapport essential for maximal benefit from the programme.

Remaining sessions focus on improving personal well-being; working relationships; identification and application of leadership traits in different contexts; and living in an increasingly connected world. Each session will be tailored using a selection of techniques, tools and sense making models to develop a bespoke individual strategy for a stronger, happier, more focused you.

Take control of your future and improve social skills vital to individual success.

The Practicalities

Each session will last an hour, with programme completion within 10-12 weeks. During this period, you will have the full email support of Progressive Vet Consulting.

Coaching sessions are by Telephone, Skype or, if distance permits, Face to Face.

The cost of the programme will be £1275 or two, six weekly payments of £650.

Uncertain if this is for you? Why not give me a call to discuss further? If I can help you to help yourself, I will.

2. Progressive Businesses

The success of the veterinary industry relies on the engagement and well-being of its personnel. Healthy staff, healthy businesses. Yet, where do you start? Progressive Vet Consulting offers bespoke training to promote vital social skills and improved business understanding among nursing, receptionist and vet teams, with the aim of positive engagement and empowerment to contribute.

  • Do you have an ever-revolving door of staff?

  • Are your staff happy to help and provide opinions?

  • Do staff understand your business values and purpose?

  • Are staff committed to business success?

  • Do you know what staff want from work?

  • Is there conflict between teams?

  • Do you have a high absence leave among staff?

  • How do you motivate your team?

Every business is unique and has different needs and problems. Therefore, the benefit of standardised courses is limited. Progressive Vet Consulting will work with you to appreciate your vision, your purpose, your goals and your context. Entirely flexible and tailored to your requirements, we identify areas where in house training workshops will provide a base for long term improvement. For example, teamwork, communication, decision making, well-being, business understanding and collective leadership. Unhappy, undermotivated teams cost money. Let’s act.

Progressive Vet Consulting understands, engages, improves.

We live in a networked society. No-one has all the answers. Together we achieve. Therefore, I am excited to announce that Progressive Vet Consulting and VetLed are collaborating on a new programme.
